Partnership for Peace and Cohesion

Advance peace, cohesion, integrity, and inclusive community development.

A symbolic handshake sealed a productive engagement between Jamii Ajibika and the National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) in Nakuru. The meeting focused on deepening collaboration to advance peace, cohesion, integrity, and inclusive community development.

The engagement provided an opportunity for both organizations to explore areas of mutual interest and identify practical ways of working together to promote peaceful coexistence and stronger community relationships. Discussions highlighted the importance of empowering young people to become active contributors to peacebuilding, social cohesion, responsible citizenship, and sustainable community development.

As a youth-focused community-based organization, Jamii Ajibika recognizes that meaningful youth participation is essential in building resilient and peaceful communities. Through its community-led initiatives, the organization continues to create spaces where young people can participate in constructive dialogue, develop leadership skills, embrace diversity, and contribute positively to their communities.

The engagement also emphasized the importance of integrity, accountability, mutual respect, and inclusion in strengthening trust within communities. By bringing together institutions, young people, community leaders, and other stakeholders, collaborative approaches can help address issues that affect social cohesion while creating opportunities for communities to work together toward shared goals.

### Partnerships for Greater Community Impact

Jamii Ajibika is committed to building meaningful partnerships with government institutions, development organizations, civil society organizations, private-sector actors, community groups, and other like-minded partners.
